Senior Business Development Representative - SaaS

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with in-house positions at leading companies; its client is a fast-growing SaaS technology company looking to build a high-performing sales team. It is hiring a Senior Business Development Representative with 5+ years of experience in SaaS or technology sales. This is a fully remote, independent contractor role focused on outbound prospecting, pipeline generation and engaging key decision-makers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute multi-channel outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn) targeting B2B SaaS buyers
• Identify and engage decision-makers (VP, Director, C-level) across target industries
• Qualify leads using BANT or MEDDIC frameworks
• Book discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives
• Develop personalized, data-driven outreach strategies for target accounts
• Maintain and manage pipeline activity in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align messaging and campaigns
• Consistently exceed KPIs for meetings booked, pipeline generated and conversion rates

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Business Development, SDR/BDR or outbound SaaS sales
• Proven success in B2B SaaS or technology sales
• Strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles, buyer personas and value-based selling
• Experience with mid-market and enterprise stakeholders
• Excellent communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills
• Highly self-motivated, analytical and results-driven; remote work experience is a plus
