Account Specialist, Specialty Medicines (Maternity Cover)

About the role

iQVIA is recruiting an experienced Specialty Account Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Zagreb, covering maternity leave. Working on behalf of a pharmaceutical partner, the role supports the promotion of a portfolio of specialty medicines in specialist healthcare settings, covering immunology, gastroenterology and dermatology, within a compliant sales model.

Key responsibilities

• Promote assigned specialty medicines in line with the approved brand strategy and local regulations
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with healthcare professionals
• Deliver high-quality product discussions based on approved materials and messaging
• Plan and manage territory activity to meet agreed sales and activity targets
• Maintain accurate, timely activity records in CRM systems
• Stay up to date on disease areas, treatment pathways and the competitor landscape
• Work in compliance with company policies, partner requirements and industry codes of practice

Required profile

• Experience as a medical or pharmaceutical sales representative, ideally in specialty or secondary care
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, business or a related field preferred
• Legally qualified to work as a medical/pharmaceutical sales representative in the country of employment
• Fluent in Croatian and business-level English
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory
