Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team at SUNCE HOTELI. The role involves independent handling of accounting and bookkeeping tasks in compliance with current standards, laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounting and bookkeeping independently according to applicable standards and regulations.
• Post all business transactions and verify the accuracy of entries.
• Process, allocate, record and control incoming invoices.
• Maintain records of fixed assets, small inventory and merchandise accounting.
• Reconcile inventory accounting with financial accounting.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports and tax filings (VAT, payroll, corporate tax, etc.) to the relevant authorities.
• Review and align the general ledger with subsidiary ledgers.
• Cooperate with tax authorities and financial institutions.
• Carry out additional administrative and financial tasks as needed.

Required profile

• University degree in economics or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in similar accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting processes and business documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Proactive, precise, responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and organise tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail, quality focus and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced use of MS Office suite.
• Advanced English language skills.
