About the role

We are looking for an experienced independent accountant to join our team in Zagreb. The role involves full‑cycle accounting, analytical work on customers and suppliers, and management of fixed assets and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent analysis of customers and suppliers, including invoice posting, VAT entries, and foreign‑currency statements.
• Handle bookkeeping tasks related to long‑term material assets and small inventory, including acquisition and disposal entries.
• Manage goods‑material accounting, ensuring accurate recording of purchases, sales, and stock movements.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting legislation, tax regulations, IFRS and HSFI standards.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in similar accounting positions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, tax and financial regulations, including IFRS and HSFI.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Valid B‑category driver’s licence.
