About the role
We are looking for an independent accountant to join PROF-OR d.o.o. in Zagreb. The role involves managing the full spectrum of accounting activities for a company operating in production, wholesale and retail, transport and marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain business books including journal, general ledger, cash books, and asset registers.
- Record and depreciate long‑term assets.
- Post incoming and outgoing invoices, calculate VAT, and reconcile customer and supplier balances as well as retail and wholesale inventory.
- Process bank statements and handle cash operations, including travel orders.
- Calculate payroll and manage employee registration in the e‑Mirovinsko system.
- Work with the e‑Porezna tax portal.
- Prepare year‑end financial statements, tax calculations and public reports.
- Monitor accounting and finance legislation and perform other administrative accounting tasks.
Required profile
- Excellent knowledge of the Synesis accounting software.
