About the role

MK‑TIM CONSULTING is expanding its operations in Zadar and seeks an independent accountant/bookkeeper to join the office team. The role involves managing daily accounting tasks for legal entities and freelancers while supporting the development of financial reporting and tax expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full set of books for companies and tradespeople
• Post and verify business documents and bank statements
• Calculate VAT and prepare tax returns
• Process payroll and other remuneration
• Reconcile customer and supplier balances
• Manage fixed‑asset registers
• Prepare monthly and periodic accounting and financial reports
• Participate in the preparation of annual financial statements and closing accounts
• Communicate with clients and monitor accounting and tax regulations

Required profile

• Proven experience in independently handling accounting books
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax legislation
• Ability to interpret financial statements and accounting data
• Self‑reliant, responsible, precise and well‑organized
• Willingness to continuously learn and pursue professional development

Required skills

• Minimax accounting software
• 4D Wand accounting software
• POS system familiarity
