About the role

We are looking for a responsible, independent and organized accountant to join our team in Ivanec. The role involves handling the full spectrum of accounting and bookkeeping tasks for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent accounting and bookkeeping duties
• Post incoming and outgoing invoices
• Record bank statements
• Enter goods receipts and other business documents
• Calculate and control VAT
• Reconcile customer and supplier balances
• Process payroll and related allowances
• Prepare and submit the JOPPD form
• Monitor and control accounting records
• Prepare data and documentation for financial statements
• Participate in the preparation of the year‑end closing
• Communicate with suppliers, customers and authorities as needed
• Handle other accounting and bookkeeping tasks

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education in economics or accounting
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
• Experience in VAT calculation and control
• Experience in payroll processing and JOPPD preparation
• Independent work style and responsible approach
• Precision, organization and reliability
• Good computer skills
• Willingness to keep up with legal and tax changes
• Ability to solve daily accounting tasks autonomously
