About the role

We are looking for a self‑employed accountant to manage the full accounting cycle for our company in Novi Marof. The role involves processing documents, preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with Croatian tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Independent processing and posting of accounting documentation
• Posting of incoming and outgoing invoices, bank statements, cash registers and vouchers
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, preparation of cost calculations and other business changes
• Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts
• Recording and posting of fixed assets, small inventory and depreciation calculations
• Payroll and other compensation calculations
• VAT calculation and preparation of statutory forms
• Preparation and calculation of travel orders
• Compilation of year‑end accounts and annual financial statements
• Working with e‑government portals and services: ePorezna, e‑Mirovinsko, e‑Zdravstveno, e‑Računi, banking platforms
• Continuous monitoring of legal and tax regulations to ensure business compliance

Required profile

• Mandatory work experience in the listed accounting tasks

Required skills

• Familiarity with Croatian e‑tax portals (ePorezna, e‑Mirovinsko, e‑Zdravstveno, e‑Računi)
