Retail Sales Associate – Cashier

About the role

Join KONZUM plus as a Retail Sales Associate – Cashier, working on the shop floor and at the checkout to ensure customers enjoy a smooth and pleasant shopping experience across numerous locations in Croatia.

Key responsibilities

• Display merchandise, monitor expiry dates, label prices and keep shelves fully stocked.
• Provide excellent service to customers in fresh‑produce sections and at the cash register.
• Control product quality and freshness according to company guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the sales area, workstations and equipment.

Required profile

• Strong customer orientation and focus on service quality.
• Friendly communication, neat appearance, responsibility and willingness to work in a team.
• Previous experience in similar retail roles and familiarity with PC‑based cash registers is a plus.

Required skills

• Operation of POS (point‑of‑sale) cash register systems.
