About the role

This internship supports the ship agency department in coordinating vessel services while docked at the port. You will work closely with supervisors to ensure smooth handling of arrivals, departures, and related administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Organise agency services for vessels during their stay in the port, in coordination with supervisors.
• Handle administrative work related to ship arrival and departure, including crew changes, representative handovers, and passenger movements.
• Collect, process, and submit supporting documentation to authorities or ship owners, prepare cargo manifests, dispositions and other required paperwork.
• Invoice all costs in coordination with supervisors, generate service invoices with cost‑revenue analysis, and monitor payment collection.
• Receive and process complaints, and archive all relevant documents.

Required profile

• Preferably a maritime or transport‑oriented educational background.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Organised, flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
• Team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced computer skills.
