About the role

Vertiv Croatia is looking for a motivated Electrical System Designer to develop power infrastructure for data centre projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient electrical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, basic, and detailed designs of data‑centre power systems.
• Create single‑line diagrams in AutoCAD and review low‑ and medium‑voltage schematics.
• Perform load, short‑circuit, and voltage‑drop calculations using Simaris, ABB DOC, and Ecodial.
• Model the data‑centre power network in ETAP and run studies (load flow, short‑circuit, selectivity, harmonics, arc‑flash).
• Select and order major electrical equipment required for construction.
• Support 3D data‑centre modelling in Revit.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and approve external documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical, civil, and automation engineers.
• Communicate with project managers and investors, providing technical support during construction.

Required profile

• Electrical engineering degree (BSc or MSc) with a focus on power systems.
• At least 3 years of experience in designing electrical power systems, preferably for data centres.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Proactive, independent, organized and detail‑oriented.
• Willingness to pursue continuous professional development.
