Project Manager – Embedded Devices

About the role

Join SICK MOBILISIS as a Project Manager for Embedded Devices, leading innovative projects from concept through industrialisation. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver cutting‑edge sensor‑to‑IT solutions for Industry 4.0.

Key responsibilities

• Lead embedded device development projects from idea generation to release.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical and test engineers to evaluate solutions and manage technical risks.
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical objectives and roadmaps.
• Coordinate R&D, product management, production, procurement and quality to ensure successful product realisation.
• Identify and resolve technical or organisational obstacles efficiently.
• Communicate project status, risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar project‑management role.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in English and comfortable working in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Hardware‑software integration (electronics, mechanics, operating systems, software applications).
• PLC programming.
• Industrial fieldbuses.
