Project Engineering Thermal Engineer (m/f)

About the role

Vertiv Croatia is looking for a Project Engineering Thermal Engineer in Zagreb, responsible for customized solutions for data centers and telecom. The role covers mechanical design of modular buildings, including heating, cooling and ventilation, plumbing and fire suppression systems, integrated with architecture, structure and electrical disciplines. Work involves office, factory and site engineering support, with about 20-30% time travel.

Key responsibilities

• Cooperate with the design team on construction documentation sets and give feedback on content and constructability
• Prepare bills of quantities and manufacturing documentation, and order installation materials
• Supervise and support the equipping of modules in the factory (Rugvica) and support the service team and subcontractors
• Manage construction administration tasks such as as-built documentation, installation manuals, FAT procedures (L3) and punch list items
• Collaborate with the operations team, local Liebert service and suppliers, and work on several parallel projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering (process and energy engineering, thermotechnics, modeling and simulation)
• 2+ years of experience in similar positions
• Analytical, organizational and meticulous approach
• English at minimum B2 level

Required skills

• Active use of Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD
• Proficiency in AutoCAD modeling; Revit is a plus
