Project Engineering Thermal Engineer

About the role

Vertiv is seeking a Project Engineering Thermal Engineer to join its dynamic team in Zagreb, Croatia. You will work on customized solutions for data centers and telecom, designing modular buildings and mechanical systems to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Cooperate with the design team to develop construction documentation sets.
• Prepare bills of quantity for factory module equipping and order installation material.
• Create manufacturing documentation and supervise engineering activities during module assembly.
• Provide engineering support to service teams, subcontractors and during design reviews.
• Manage construction administration tasks such as As‑Built documentation, installation manuals and FAT procedures.
• Coordinate with local Liebert service, helpdesk and suppliers to improve product delivery across multiple parallel projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (process, energy, thermotechnics, modelling, simulations).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Analytical, organized and meticulous work style.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.

Required skills

• Windows operating system.
• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• AutoCAD (Autodesk) – proficient.
• Revit – desirable.
