Project Controller – Finance & Controlling

About the role

We are looking for a Project Controller to lead the implementation of centralized project controlling across all group companies. Based in Zagreb, you will act as a business partner to project managers, ensuring financial transparency and supporting decision‑making in our R&D environment.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce and maintain a centralized project controlling system for all group entities.
• Provide financial training and support to project managers.
• Establish transparent data and controlling processes for projects.
• Prepare regular reports on project progress, budget vs. actual deviations.
• Collaborate daily with the Headquarter Controlling/Finance/Project department.
• Act as a challenger and business partner, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance and controlling.
• Background in R&D or project controlling.
• Proven experience developing and introducing controlling processes.
• Experience in an international environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
