Power Platform Developer

About the role

Join BASF’s Digital Hub for Care Chemicals as a Power Platform Developer. You will create and maintain low‑code business applications and automations that streamline operations and improve transparency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and support canvas Power Apps for mobile, tablet, and web usage.
• Create Power Automate cloud flows for approvals, notifications, routing, SLA reminders and reporting.
• Model data structures and implement secure storage in Dataverse (or SharePoint where appropriate).
• Develop model‑driven apps in Dataverse, including forms, views, business rules and role‑based UX.
• Produce Power BI reports and dashboards with semantic models, DAX measures and user‑friendly visuals.
• Integrate enterprise data sources using standard connectors and APIs.
• Apply governance and ALM practices: manage environments, solutions, deployments, monitoring and support.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, write clear user stories and iterate with stakeholder feedback.
• Document solutions and enable adoption through training and handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate in business scenarios.
• Proven experience with Dataverse data modeling and security roles.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain Power BI reports for business users.
• Strong communication skills to translate business needs into functional solutions.
• Ownership mindset – deliver, stabilize and continuously improve solutions in production.
