About the role

LAUS CC is looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Consultant to join its team in Zagreb. You will work on projects that digitise key public institutions in Croatia, translating client needs into effective technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Gather, document and validate business requirements with stakeholders.
• Convert requirements into functional and non‑functional specifications for the development team.
• Participate in solution design, optimisation and propose innovative approaches.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including specifications, user manuals and reports.
• Support implementation, testing and end‑user training.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Monitor industry trends and suggest enhancements to existing solutions.

Required profile

• Higher education in Computer Science, Economics or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience as a business analyst, consultant or project lead with an analytical focus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Croatian and English, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Required skills

• BPMN (business process modelling).
• SQL and database handling.
• Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools.
