About the role

The Assistant Maintenance Manager supports the maintenance leader in overseeing technical systems of a hotel complex in Rovinj/Vrsar. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance planning and cost optimisation while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the work of in‑house craftsmen and external service providers, validating work orders according to professional standards.
• Organise and execute preventive maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve faults within the scope of authority.
• Maintain pool equipment and kitchen‑gas‑heat (KGH) systems.
• Rationalise maintenance and energy costs.
• Monitor consumption of engineering materials and energy.
• Implement measures in line with contracted quality‑control standards.
• Carry out tasks defined by legal obligations, internal regulations, procedures and company goals.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma in a technical field (electrical, plumbing or mechanical).
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Active use of English (understanding, speaking and writing).
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
