Plant Controller (m/ž)

About the role

The client, a reputable manufacturer of technical protection and fire‑extinguishing systems, is looking for an experienced Plant Controller to join the Raša site. The role focuses on monitoring production costs, supporting month‑end closing, and driving cost‑optimization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse production costs and key manufacturing KPIs.
• Validate product Bill of Materials (BOM) and their values.
• Track inventory variances and assist in root‑cause analysis.
• Support monthly closing activities and budgeting/forecasting processes.
• Monitor CAPEX investments and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Ensure reliability and compliance of industrial data recorded in the ERP system.
• Prepare analytical reports for management.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics and Procurement departments.

Required profile

• Higher education in Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or Management Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial controlling or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in Croatian, Italian and English.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.
