About the role

The Postal Office Operator works at a local post office in Cres, providing a full range of postal, financial and ancillary services to customers. The role combines front‑office assistance, sales of postal products and operational handling of mail items.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver postal, financial and other services to the public.
• Actively promote and sell all goods and services offered by the post office.
• Sort, catalogue, and assign mail items to couriers, including preparation of delivery instructions.
• Monitor inventory of stamps, securities and merchandise according to office needs.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of customer and operational documentation.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the post office.
• Open and close the office each day, ensuring it remains tidy.

Required profile

• Secondary school education (SSS).
• Basic computer literacy.
• Developed sales and communication abilities.
• Valid category B driving licence.
