Materials Manager (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a Materials Manager to lead our Materials organization in Osijek. The role is responsible for ensuring material availability, optimizing inventory, and supporting production and customer commitments within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, inventory management, warehousing and logistics functions.
• Monitor and improve metrics such as inventory turns, forecast accuracy, shortages and on‑time delivery.
• Develop initiatives to reduce excess, obsolete inventory and support operational efficiency.
• Partner with customers and cross‑functional teams to manage demand changes and mitigate supply‑chain risks.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations and internal quality standards.
• Drive cost reduction through inventory optimisation, logistics improvements and supplier collaboration.
• Coach and develop the Materials team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma and operational‑excellence projects, analysing performance data and implementing corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in materials management, supply chain or logistics, with 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical devices or pharmaceutical.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage risk.
