About the role

The Hotel Novi Zagreb is looking for a proactive Housekeeping & Maintenance Manager to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. You will be responsible for both routine repairs and larger maintenance projects, working closely with internal teams and external contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and supervise everyday maintenance tasks, including painting, electrical repairs, plumbing, and heating system upkeep.
• Maintain the building’s water, drainage, and heating systems, as well as the surrounding environment.
• Execute work promptly and to a high standard, both independently and with external service providers.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, tool inventories, and consumable supplies.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to share information and coordinate activities.
• Lead and organize the technical service team, ensuring efficient scheduling and task allocation.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
• Conversational proficiency in English.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with the MS Office suite.
• Motivated, positive, and flexible, able to work under pressure and occasional overtime.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
