About the role

The Quality Controller will lead, maintain and improve the company's quality management systems in a dynamic food production environment. You will ensure compliance with legal requirements, guarantee product safety and support continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance quality systems such as HACCP, QS, GMP+, AMA Pastus+, ISO 9001, FSSC and others.
• Monitor legislation and product safety requirements.
• Organise and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Supervise critical control points in production and monitor product quality and safety.
• Control hygiene, raw material and packaging quality, as well as shelf‑life limits.
• Manage laboratory activities, interpret analytical results and produce quality reports.
• Handle complaints and non‑conformities, proposing corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with external labs, auditors, suppliers and service providers.
• Participate in training employees on food safety, hygiene and quality systems.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma in food technology, agronomy or a related field.
• Experience in quality control within food or animal feed production.
• Familiarity with quality standards and systems.
• Experience in documentation management and internal audits.
• Proficiency in English and/or German.
• Independent, responsible and capable of decision‑making.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced production setting.
