About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accounting and Bookkeeping Officer to join our finance team in Zagreb. The role involves handling a range of accounting, payroll, and HR documentation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth employee administration.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize accounting documentation.
  • Post incoming and outgoing invoices (UR, IR) and bank statements.
  • Generate VAT returns and related forms.
  • Calculate payroll and process salary payments.
  • Maintain personnel records and manage employee onboarding and off‑boarding procedures.

Required profile

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and external partners.
