About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accounting and Bookkeeping Officer to join our finance team in Zagreb. The role involves handling a range of accounting, payroll, and HR documentation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth employee administration.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and organize accounting documentation.
Post incoming and outgoing invoices (UR, IR) and bank statements.
Generate VAT returns and related forms.
Calculate payroll and process salary payments.
Maintain personnel records and manage employee onboarding and off‑boarding procedures.

Required profile

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and external partners.
