Junior Legal Counsel – Zagreb

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Legal Counsel to join our real‑estate team in Zagreb. You will work closely with the senior lawyer responsible for legal matters across Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia, gaining hands‑on experience in corporate and civil law within a leading property group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare initial drafts of leases, service agreements and other contracts.
• Research legislation and case law to support daily legal challenges.
• Coordinate communication between internal teams and external lawyers.
• Maintain and improve the legal database, templates and standard procedures.
• Manage documentation, from organizing notary visits to archiving signed contracts.
• Participate in real‑estate transaction preparation and due‑diligence processes.
• Attend meetings and transactions to observe how large deals are executed.

Required profile

• Fast learner eager to ask questions and find solutions.
• Early‑career professional with 1–2 years of experience in a law firm or legal department, familiar with civil and corporate law.
• Detail‑oriented and highly organized.
• Fluent in Croatian and English, able to communicate with colleagues from different countries.
• Proactive attitude, looking for ways to support the team.
