IT Manager – Infrastructure & Engineering Systems

About the role

The IT Manager is responsible for the stability, security and continuous improvement of the IT landscape across Lürssen Design Center Kvarner and the Maritime Center of Excellence. Working closely with engineering, project management, finance and the Lürssen Group IT team in Germany, the role bridges business needs with technology solutions to support digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the entire IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, workstations, software licensing and vendor management.
• Administer and support engineering applications such as CADMATIC, Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Manage ERP systems (PS System, PSI Penta) – user administration, interfaces and enhancements.
• Maintain PDM/PLM data management and ensure secure data exchange across locations.
• Collaborate with Lürssen Group IT on shared services, cybersecurity and international projects.
• Develop and optimise GPU, virtualization, cloud and machine‑learning infrastructure for engineering automation.
• Design and maintain secure sandbox and development environments, CI/CD pipelines and APIs.
• Continuously improve network architecture for reliable, high‑performance connectivity.
