Independent Accountant / Bookkeeper / Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a precise, organized and self‑driven professional to take full ownership of our financial and administrative processes. This position offers a high degree of autonomy and requires a proactive individual who can set standards, monitor workflows and serve as a reliable pillar for the team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the full set of business books and all related financial documentation independently.
• Calculate VAT, prepare annual financial statements and manage payroll calculations.
• Issue invoices, track orders and coordinate with logistics partners and suppliers.
• Communicate with banks, tax authorities and external institutions.
• Prepare documentation for customers and foreign business partners.
• Handle administrative tasks and provide operational support to the team.
• Issue non‑automated outgoing invoices and monitor incoming/outgoing invoices to control cash flow.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance.
• At least 4 years of experience in independent bookkeeping under Croatian regulations.
• Experience with foreign business operations and EU transactions is a plus.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus.
• Fluent English for handling foreign documentation.
• Exceptional precision, organization and independence.
