HR Officer (m/ž)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated HR Officer to join our Zagreb office and support the human resources functions of a major infrastructure project. The role involves a mix of administrative, compliance, and coordination tasks in a dynamic, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general administrative tasks within the HR department.
• Maintain personnel records and other labour‑law documentation.
• Coordinate and support recruitment processes from interview to hiring.
• Handle registration and deregistration for pension insurance.
• Monitor absences, sick leave, and annual leave and prepare payroll data.
• Collect and submit documentation for residence and work permits for foreign nationals.
• Submit permit applications to relevant authorities (e.g., MUP, HZZ) and track their status.
• Maintain an orderly database and archive of HR documents.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external institutions and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• English proficiency at least B1 level for work in an international setting.
• Good knowledge of Croatian labour legislation and the Foreigners Act.
• High sense of responsibility, neatness, and reliability.
• Strong communication skills and professional behaviour.
