About the role

The Chief Site Engineer is responsible for the overall success and profitability of construction projects. The role involves planning, coordinating on‑site activities, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in project planning: analyse cost estimates, prepare calculations, and define construction technology.
• Coordinate and oversee all on‑site activities, including subcontractor work.
• Maintain site documentation (daily log and register) together with the assistant engineer and submit it regularly to the project manager.
• Record attendance of all site personnel and enforce occupational safety measures.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of site staff.
• Supervise the assistant site engineer (if present) and foremen.
• Ensure timely delivery of documentation to management.
• Guarantee completeness and conformity of all works.
• Provide daily coordination and reporting to the project manager.

Required profile

• Higher education in civil engineering (VŠS/VSS) with a state professional exam and registration in the Chamber, authorized to sign documents.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in both building and civil engineering projects.
• Valid driver’s licence, category B.
• Strong analytical, precise, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience using MS Project.
