About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Director to lead Marinus Beach Hotel, a boutique 31‑room property located on the beachfront in Marina. The role involves full responsibility for all hotel operations, driving revenue growth and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across accommodation, food & beverage, wellness and beach bar.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, optimise costs and maximise profitability.
• Lead, motivate and develop the entire hotel team, fostering high engagement and professionalism.
• Maintain high service standards to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Design and implement operational procedures and policies.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and partners.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards.
• Report regularly to senior management and propose improvements.

Required profile

• University degree (BSc/MSc) in Economics, Tourism or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior management role within the hotel industry.
• Proven leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, finance and sales.
• High level of responsibility, autonomy and proactivity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem‑solving capability.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with hotel PMS/POS systems (preferred).
