FinCrime Analyst – Detect Fraud in Fintech

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Monitor transactions and user behaviour to spot risky patterns.
• Conduct end‑to‑end investigations and document findings clearly.
• Handle escalated cases and deliver defensible outcomes.
• Connect dots across transactions, behaviour and anomalies.
• Flag accounts for verification or restriction when needed.
• Identify emerging fraud tactics and intervene early.
• Produce concise reports to accelerate case escalation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve cases and build a complete picture.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of professional experience; strong analytical instinct valued even for earlier‑career candidates.
• Degree in economics, finance, law, technology or a related field.
• Curious mindset focused on “why did this happen” rather than just “what happened”.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay sharp on repetitive tasks.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Genuine interest in fintech, payments and financial crime.

Required skills

• Excel – comfortable with pivot tables and formulas for data analysis.
