Finance Service Specialist (m/f)

About the role

The Finance Service Specialist will support the finance team by handling invoices, payments, and reconciliations while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulations. You will work closely with internal departments and external partners to keep financial processes running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing invoices, bank statements and payments accurately and on time.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Post and process manual journal entries to record business transactions.
• Monitor accounting entries, identify discrepancies and correct them promptly.
• Analyse and reconcile interim accounts.
• Participate in monthly and year‑end closing activities according to defined timelines.
• Coordinate with external consultants, tax authorities and financial institutions as needed.
• Support year‑end audit activities and provide documentation for auditors.
• Assist in testing and implementing ERP enhancements and process changes.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and relevant financial regulations.
• Contribute to ESG reporting related to financial data.

Required profile

• BSc/BA or MA in accounting, finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a production‑oriented company is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities, dedication and resilience.
• Ambitious, dynamic and self‑driven with solid academic background.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with accounting software (e.g., Infor).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
