Field Service Associate - Nuclear Power Plant NDT

About the role

INETEC, a high-tech company designing, developing and producing robotic systems, instruments, software, controllers and probes for the nuclear industry, is looking for a Field Service Associate. The role involves non-destructive testing (NDT) with robots inside nuclear power plants, typically spending 15-25 days per inspection with the NDT team. The position is based in Donji Stupnik, Croatia, with field work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and contribute to the advancement of NDT techniques.
• Prepare detailed procedures for testing a wide range of components in nuclear power plants.
• Take part in evaluating and testing new probes, instruments, software, robots and scanners during development.
• Carry out field tests at nuclear power plants.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a technical field.
• Willingness to work in the field abroad.
• Team-oriented, responsible, proactive and eager to learn.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Category B driving licence is an advantage but not required.

Required skills

• Advantage: basic knowledge of NDT methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, penetrant, eddy current testing and visual inspection.
• Advantage: use of computers, software and tools for data collection and analysis.
• Advantage: basic knowledge of preparing, assembling, maintaining and disassembling testing equipment, robots and manipulators.
• Advantage: basic knowledge of norms, standards and specifications governing NDT processes.
