About the role

We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual to join our team at Hoću knjigu bookstore located in City Center One East, Zagreb. The role involves direct interaction with customers, handling transactions, and maintaining an inviting store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and provide courteous service to shoppers.
• Receive, unpack, and shelve new merchandise, ensuring shelves are well stocked.
• Inform customers about new releases, best‑sellers, school supplies, and other product ranges.
• Organise product displays according to management guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks related to the position as needed.

Required profile

• A genuine love for books and familiarity with current best‑sellers, school materials, and memorabilia.
• Previous experience in retail or customer‑facing roles is preferred.
• Enthusiasm for creating a favourite destination for book lovers.
