Deutschsprachiger Customer Care Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Customer Care Specialist to join our team in Croatia. The role focuses on assisting existing customers of a leading German internet operator, understanding their needs and helping retain them.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from existing customers, conduct advisory conversations to understand needs and promote retention.
• Process contract cancellations, terminations and general customer inquiries.
• Provide support to a selected customer base via phone and written channels (approximately 85 % of time is phone‑based).
• Follow quality guidelines and contribute to team targets related to customer satisfaction, conversion and service availability.

Required profile

• German language proficiency at C1/C2 level, both written and spoken.
• Pleasant voice and strong communication abilities.
• Previous experience in customer support, preferably with a focus on retention, upselling or advisory sales.
• Good computer literacy and ability to work with several software tools simultaneously.
• Self‑reliance, strong work ethic and willingness to work shifts between 08:00 and 20:00.
• Availability for a paid 14‑day training program that combines on‑site sessions in Zagreb with remote training.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce CRM (optional but advantageous).
