Certification & Safety Manager (M/W/D)

About the role

We are seeking a precise, intelligent, and responsible Certification & Safety Manager to join our team in Split, Croatia. You will lead our certification activities, guide safety processes, and develop into the company’s Safety Manager while working with cutting‑edge drone technology.

Key responsibilities

• Study, interpret, and apply SORA requirements, EASA guidance and other aviation regulations to Jedsy operations and documentation.
• Coordinate certification activities, preparing applications, manuals, compliance documents, records and tracking deadlines and open actions.
• Communicate professionally with aviation authorities, external consultants, technical partners and internal teams.
• Manage and review the work of the existing certification team and collaborate with engineering, flight operations, training and management.
• Support risk assessments, flight incident reviews, corrective actions and raise safety or compliance concerns clearly.
• Maintain high productivity under shifting priorities and tight timelines.

Required profile

• Exceptional attention to detail and a structured, independent working style.
• Strong analytical ability and interest in researching complex technical information.
• Demonstrable connection to drones or aviation (e.g., drone operations, pilot licence, gliding, model aircraft, etc.).
• Confidence to challenge unsafe, incorrect or non‑compliant situations.
• Ability to manage team members, review work carefully and follow up on priorities.
• Experience using AI tools.
• Familiarity with SORA, EASA UAS regulations or means of compliance is a plus.
• Fluent English – applications must be submitted in English.
