Base Manager for Charter Base

About the role

Dream Yacht Croatia is looking for an experienced Base Manager to lead its charter base in Seget Donji. The role combines operational oversight, team leadership, and client service in a vibrant nautical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the base, ensuring high service standards and client satisfaction.
• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of technicians, cleaners and office staff.
• Manage seamless check‑in and check‑out processes for vessels and address client inquiries promptly.
• Supervise maintenance and technical compliance of the yacht fleet.
• Control the base budget, optimise costs and prepare financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Resolve operational issues and unexpected situations proactively.
• Collaborate closely with the central office and other company departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a managerial role within nautical tourism, hospitality or a related service sector.
• Demonstrated ability to organise complex operations and manage teams.
• Strong command of English (minimum B2 level) – both spoken and written.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Team‑oriented, responsible, precise and results‑driven attitude.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a dynamic, seasonal environment.

Required skills

• Maritime technical knowledge related to boat operations and maintenance.
