Assistant Category Management (m/ž)

About the role

The Assistant Category Management role supports the Category Manager in monitoring performance, analysing market data and driving the growth of the assigned product category. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the assortment, pricing and promotions meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse traffic, margin and results of the category.
• Prepare analyses and reports to support negotiations with suppliers.
• Analyse the assortment and participate in the onboarding of new items.
• Track market prices and propose adjustments.
• Plan, execute and monitor promotional activities and their billing.
• Collaborate with colleagues from various departments to achieve shared goals.
• Suggest process improvements and take part in their implementation.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the team.

Required profile

• Higher education in a social‑oriented field, preferably Economics.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical, structured and organized work style.
• Independent and self‑motivated with good communication and negotiation abilities.
