Area Manager – Varaždin & Međimurje Region

About the role

The Area Manager will oversee retail stores in the Varaždin and Međimurje region, driving sales performance, controlling costs, and ensuring operational excellence across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and monitor all processes in assigned stores, maximizing sales and productivity while controlling expenses.
• Organise and supervise the opening of new retail units.
• Manage, train and motivate store managers, tracking their progress.
• Conduct regular visits to stores in the region to develop team members.
• Coordinate inspection processes, regular and ad‑hoc inventories.
• Collaborate proactively with HR on regional personnel matters and work closely with colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in retail.
• Result‑oriented, motivated and operationally focused.
• Strong team‑leadership and collaboration abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.
