Affera Mapper – Cardiac Mapping & Ablation Specialist

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an Affera™ Product Specialist to drive adoption of the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System across Croatia and Slovenia. The role combines clinical expertise, technical leadership, and customer partnership to support electrophysiology teams in delivering advanced cardiac care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support during electrophysiology mapping and ablation procedures using the Affera™ system.
• Deliver training and in‑service programs for physicians and EP lab staff.
• Support new site activations, product launches, and workflow optimization.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop training centers and conduct market assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical electrophysiology experience.
• At least 1 year of independent support experience for EP mapping procedures.
• Fluency in English and the local language(s) plus a valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System.
• Technical troubleshooting of electrophysiology equipment.
• Ability to develop and deliver product training.
