About the role

We are seeking a Sales Manager for fresh meat to execute the company’s sales strategy with key customers throughout Croatia. The role works closely with the Director of Fresh Meat Sales to develop plans, manage budgets and increase product visibility in retail locations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the agreed company‑wide sales strategy for designated key customers across Croatia.
• Collaborate with the Director of Fresh Meat Sales to propose and refine sales strategies aimed at achieving sales targets and improving product exposure.
• Participate in annual sales planning for each key customer and ensure plan execution.
• Assist in budgeting for key customers, including trade‑marketing budgets and discount terms.
• Maintain regular contact with staff of key customers according to predefined visit schedules.
• Coordinate and monitor the work of retail sales managers at key customer locations.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities, report findings and initiate actions to boost sales and product placement.
• Organise and execute promotional activities.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (VSS) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
• High level of responsibility, analytical thinking and strong negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivation, proactivity and good organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.
