About the role

The client, a specialist company in audit, accounting and business consulting, is looking for a Sales Manager to lead the casting business across assigned European markets. The role combines strategic sales planning, customer acquisition and technical representation of the foundry at trade events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales strategy for castings on designated European markets.
• Identify and acquire new customers and projects, including lead generation, bid support and project follow‑up.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Present the foundry’s technical capabilities at exhibitions and to target clients.
• Achieve revenue, margin and volume targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in castings or metal components.
• Strong technical understanding of casting processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with a results‑driven approach.
• Fluent spoken and written English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site at least 50% of the time.
