About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Split. You will be responsible for preparing and processing employee salaries, allowances and other remunerations while ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and calculate payroll, allowances and other employee earnings.
• Maintain and update all required payroll documentation.
• Complete and submit forms for employees and relevant authorities.
• Enter and keep payroll data up‑to‑date in the HR system.
• Generate payroll reports and analyses.
• Monitor legislative changes related to payroll and labor law.

Required profile

• University degree (VŠS/VSS) or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in payroll or a similar function.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
