Software Developer – HR Application

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Developer to join our team in Zagreb and work on the Human Resources application that supports Intesa Sanpaolo’s banking digitalisation. You will be part of an international group that values innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain new features of the HR application, ensuring they meet user requirements and performance standards.
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code and participate in the full software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners and other developers to design and implement new functionality.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging and code reviews to guarantee software quality.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases, document code and development processes.
• Ensure all work complies with company and group regulations.

Required profile

• Experience working with both local and international clients.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with writing clean, testable code and performing unit testing.
• Strong debugging and code‑review routine.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• Advanced English level for fluent communication and understanding of technical documentation.

• ServiceNow (preferred professional experience).
