Senior Sales Specialist - Drives, Motors and PLCs

About the role

ABB Motion, in its Croatia business area based in Zagreb, is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Specialist. The role covers the markets of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania, and reports to the Sales Manager. You will drive sales of drives, motors and PLCs, building lasting customer relationships and exceeding sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively develop new business and hunt for new customers.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, explain the full product and systems offering and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Prepare sales documentation with company tools and use effective sales techniques to close transactions, contracts and proposals.
• Communicate delivery times, payment terms and general conditions in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
• Drive new market opportunities and share know-how with colleagues.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics or Control and Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
• Fluent Croatian and advanced English.
• Valid driving licence and no obstacle to travelling.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of drives, motors and PLCs is highly appreciated.
• Knowledge of LV/MV drive systems is appreciated.
• Salesforce, MS tools and SAP are advantages.
