Sales Engineer – Service Division

About the role

ABB's Service Division in Zagreb is looking for a Sales Engineer to contribute to its Electrification Service business. The role reports to the Service Manager and focuses on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the full Service product portfolio, while building long-term customer relationships and responding quickly to customer needs. The work model is hybrid, with the possibility of considering flexible locations.

Key responsibilities

• Sell products, systems and services to customers and achieve business targets for the assigned service business.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, understand their needs and present the full product, system and service offering.
• Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process and efficient marketing activities.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities, including digital sales opportunities, and promote digital solutions.
• Manage administrative procedures in sales and support collection and project management when needed.
• Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager, covering technical and financial aspects such as prices and trading conditions.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in sales and marketing.
• Experience and knowledge of medium voltage and low voltage systems and solutions.
• Current driving licence valid in Croatia to travel to customers.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Croatian.

Required skills

• Strong sales competency, including digital capability and know-how.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools and Salesforce is an advantage.
• Learning ability, customer orientation, responsibility and personal integrity.
