Procurement Manager (m/f)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the purchasing function at our Solin office. The role involves developing and executing procurement strategies that support the company’s business objectives and overseeing all supplier interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage the end‑to‑end procurement process.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Manage relationships with existing suppliers and identify/evaluate new ones.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.
• Monitor market trends, price movements and product availability.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels and timely product availability.
• Analyse procurement costs and propose optimisation and savings measures.
• Track order execution and resolve any deviations or supplier issues.
• Report on procurement results, costs and key performance indicators.
• Lead, develop and motivate the procurement team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• University degree (BSc or MSc) in economics, engineering or a related field.
• Strong negotiation, communication and organisational abilities.
• High level of responsibility, independence and pro‑activity.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to make decisions and manage priorities effectively.
• Advanced proficiency with the MS Office suite.
• Active knowledge of the English language.
