About the role

The employer is looking for a motivated assistant kitchen worker to support daily food preparation and service in a fast‑paced environment. The role involves both back‑of‑house tasks and front‑of‑house assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Chop, slice and prepare ingredients for dishes.
• Serve simple meals, salads, desserts, sandwiches and similar items.
• Assist with serving meals when required.
• Clean work surfaces, floors, hoods, storage areas, prep stations and buffet lines; dispose of waste.
• Follow hygiene standards at all times.
• Load dishes into the dishwasher and arrange clean, washed tableware.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen position.
• Readiness to work in a team and maintain a positive attitude toward colleagues.
• Ability to perform tasks quickly without compromising quality.
• Organised and capable of following instructions accurately.
