Medical Sales Representative - CVRM, Zagreb and Central Croatia

About the role

AstraZeneca's Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism (CVRM) team is looking for a Medical Sales Representative to cover Zagreb and Central Croatia. This is a fully field-based role in which you generate demand for the CVRM portfolio, build trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals and communicate scientific and clinical value while upholding the highest ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute territory plans, working with the First Line Sales Manager to meet agreed targets
• Build long-term relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals and engage them in scientific discussions
• Promote the product portfolio using compliant, evidence-based communication and organise educational meetings, speaker programmes and workshops
• Use promotional channels effectively and support the optimal use of medicines according to approved indications and local guidelines
• Maintain ethical standards, follow the Code of Ethics, compliance policies, data privacy and safety requirements, and complete mandatory training and product certification
• Plan customer engagements with CRM systems and report accurately on activities, expenses and business updates

Required profile

• Master's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine or another relevant scientific discipline
• Fluent Croatian and English, and a valid Category B driving licence
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, field-based environment and a collaborative team-player mindset
• Preferred: knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, cardiovascular/renal/metabolic therapeutic areas and the local healthcare market
